6th Steering Group meeting in Bukarest, Romania

The 6th meeting of PA 8 Steering Group was held on 28 October 2013 in  Bukarest, within the framework of the Second Annual Forum of the EUSDR.

Participants from 10 EUSDR-contries Austria, Baden-Württemberg, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republik, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia as well as the European Commission and the OECD attended the meeting.

The kick-off meeting of the particular working group have already taken place. The working groups achieved first visible and remarkable results: The SIRA-Project, the DanuClus and the Environmental Technology Network. (See also the publications below).
Moreover, the working groups gave an overview about planned actions and about upcoming events. It will soon be available online.

In addition,  the first progress report on the socio-economic study was presented. The aim of the study is an indicator-based analysis of potential opportunities, needs, challenges, and recommendations, in order to enhance the competitiveness, the innovative strength, the attractiveness,  the prosperity and to develop a strategic orientation with regard to transnational and interregional cooperation for the period from 2014 to 2020.
