The PA 8 team is pleased to congratulate the lead partner of the PA 8 flagship project BrAIn – Bringing Artificial Intelligence towards SMEs, Pannon Business Network (PBN), Dr. Balázs Barta and Renáta Csabai, on being invited to give an interview to EU Research.
EU Research is a respected European professional journal published in 33 countries, showcasing research and innovation initiatives that make a meaningful contribution to shaping policy, business, and academic thinking.
The interview focused on the BrAIn project, which aims to bring the practical application of artificial intelligence closer to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Danube Region.
Key topics discussed in the interview included:
• AI-based demonstration cases and pilot solutions addressing real business and societal challenges in the Danube Region, illustrating how AI can be integrated into concrete operational processes
• The application potential of humanoid and social robots, particularly in healthcare and social care, where such solutions not only enhance efficiency but also play a human-centred, supportive role
• Sector-specific AI approaches in healthcare, agro-food, and manufacturing, demonstrating how solutions can be tailored to the distinct needs of different industries
• AI as a strategic asset supporting long-term competitiveness, workforce retention, and sustainable growth
One of the key messages highlighted in the interview states:
“AI will not replace people – but those businesses that use AI smartly will replace those that do not.”
We are proud that the work of Pannon Business Network and the BrAIn project has been presented on such a prestigious international platform.
