Congress “Virtual Worlds – Experiencing Opportunities in the Metaverse” on 8 May 2025 in Stuttgart

The event “Virtual Worlds – Experiencing Opportunities in the Metaverse” on 8 May 2025 at Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle and Porsche Arena in Stuttgart  is opening its doors to a future full of digital opportunities for experts, managers, workers, researchers, students and anyone else who doesn’t want to miss out on the virtual age.

The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism is cooperating with the Virtual Dimension Center Fellbach – Competence Centre for Virtual Reality and Cooperative Engineering w. V. (VDC), to combine their joint know-how from the gaming industry, business-oriented research, and industry applications.

PA 8 is organising a series of events for our stakeholders in the framework of the congress, which is free of charge on the first day, 8th May 2025.

We will organise a free lunch in the business lounge of Porsche Arena to offer an ideal frame for networking for PA 8 stakeholders and beyond.

The first workshop in connection with our new study “Identification of Lighthouse Projects in the Danube Region” and the Lighthouse Projects in the field of Digitisation / Artificial Intelligence / Metaverse / Virtual Worlds will be presented. The workshop is organised by Steinbeis Europa Zentrum from Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with Pannon Business Network from Hungary. Both organisations are also involved in PA 8 as coordinators of working groups.

Pannon Business Network as leadpartner of the Interreg Danube Region (Seed Money Facility) Project HUMANOID will organise a symposium in the framework of the Congress.

In addition, a PA 8 Steering Group meeting is scheduled for the day.

The exhibition will open at 9am on 8 May, the congress will start at 10am and the workshop and then the SG meeting will take place after lunch.

For those of you who plan to arrive in Stuttgart on 7 May, we are planning to organise a welcome dinner in the city, depending on interest and demand.
