Dr. Claus Hoffmann is the new coordinator of the PA 08 Working Group “Digital Danube”

In the context of the event “The Danube Region at the turn of times – actively shaping the transformation. – Solution approaches for politics and business.” on July 10th in Stuttgart, Dr. Claus Hoffmann took over the coordination of the EUSDR PA 8 Working Group “Digital Danube” from Prof. Dieter Hertweck, research professor at the University of Reutlingen.

 

Dr. Claus Hoffmann, who is Managing Director of the Center for Digitalisation of the Stuttgart Region (ZD.BB GmbH), would like to drive the digital transformation forward together with the members of the Working Group.

 

The Working Group “Digital Danube” aims to connect major regional and transnational stakeholders and their complementary resources, systems and skills with the goal to generate new digital business models, products, processes and services. Mr. Hoffmann emphasizes the importance of this initiative, “The digital transformation in the Danube Region is of significant strategic relevance. Through cooperation in the Working Group we want to take advantage of the opportunities arising from digitalisation and foster regional development.”
