3rd Meeting of the Working Group “Environmental Technologies and Energy Efficiency on 28-29 January 2015 in Stuttgart and Baden-Baden

The 3rd Meeting of the Working Group Environmental Technology and Energy Efficiency was held on the 28 and 29 January 2015 as part of the PA 8 of the EUSDR in Stuttgart and Baden-Baden, Germany. The WG is designed as an open space group. The participation depends on the thematic scope of each WG meeting.

Tasks of the WG are to identify, present and support projects in the Danube Region in the field of Environmental Technologies and Energy Efficiency. The focus of the 3rd meeting was to present project examples, ideas and experiences in the area of water and waste management and to inform about the upcoming call of the INTERREG VB Danube Transnational Progamme. The included visiting program in Baden-Baden focused on best practice and solutions for SMEs and municipalities“Green waste to biofuel: biomass Concept of Baden-Baden”, presentation of the city of Baden-Baden.
