The third Workshop for Networking and Cluster Development in Danube Region was held on March 10-11, 2015 in city of Vukovar, Croatia with more than a hundred of participants coming from almost all the EU Strategy of Danube Region (EUSDR) and Central European Initiative (CEI) countries.
The 3rd Workshop for cluster networking and development in Danube Region is one among key activities within the implementation of the Priority Area 8 of the EUDSR and the countries of Central European Initiative (CEI).
The workshop was held in cooperation of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Baden Württemberg, which jointly coordinate the Priority Area 8 of the EU Strategy for Danube Region.
The topics of the 3rd Workshop were primarily focused on development of activities of Danube Cluster Network with special emphasize on the sources and prospect of cluster financing in the programmatic period 2014-2020 as well as addressing the internationalization and networking with the best practice of clusters in Danube region.
In vivid final discussion of the two second day’s panels the participants agreed that the workshop provided a good platform for better familiarizing with the key stakeholders from the Danube macro regional economic sector, new prospects and guidelines for further economic development.
