The DTC Network – a story of successful cooperation along the Danube
On Wednesday 19th June 2024, partners and stakeholders from the Danube region came together for a ceremony in the frame of the 13th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region in Vienna to consolidate the Danube Transfer Center Network, one of the flagship projects of Priority Area 8 of the Danube Region Strategy.
With 16 Danube Transfer Centres in 11 countries and at least 26 joint, successful applications for project funding and implemented or ongoing projects, the DTC Network marks a 12-year story of flourishing cooperation and joint project development along the Danube, which is today more vital than ever: highly topical issues such as the “Danube Region going Green & Digital” and reindustrialization were presented at the event.
The success story of the DTC network continued in Vienna with the festive signing of the enlargement with five new partners from Bulgaria, Germany, Montenegro and Slovenia joining the agreement on cooperation in the various Danube Transfer Centres, Entry Points, Knowledge, Policy and Business Hubs across the Danube Region.
