The first day of the joint event of “barcamp Böblingen” and the Priority 8 of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) focused on business models in the review of urban areas to transform degraded areas into intelligent areas and cities into smart cities.The event offered stakeholders and SMEs from Baden-Württemberg and the Danube region the opportunity to exchange experiences and addresses their challenges directly to the representatives from politics and administration present.
On the second and on the third day a bilingual “barcamp” event took place, in the format of an “unconference” on the topics of Internet, Digitization, IT, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, (Lean) Start-ups, Social Media and Society. During all three days many satekholders (universities, SMEs, technology centres etc.) from the Danube region were present and contributed actively to the success of the event.
The DCP event was jointly organised by the Working Groups of the Priority Area 8 of the EUSDR “Digital Danube” (coordinated by Reutlingen University), “Innovation and Technology Transfer” (coordinated by Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum/Steinbeis 2i GmbH) and by the ZD.BB Digital Hub.
