PA8 Stakeholder Session at the 4th EU MACRO-REGIONAL STARTEGIES WEEK, 24-28 April 2023

We are pleased to invite you to the 4th EU Macro-Regional Strategies week and especially to the stakeholder session organized by PA 8.

In cooperation with EUSALP and EUSBR PA8 was selected to organize a session within the framework of the 4th EU MRS week concerning the “Development of resilient value chains and their impact on a sustainable energy supply and its energy saving potentials – with examples from the fields of circular economy and bioeconomy“.

The online event will take place on Wednesday the 26th April at 9:30 -11:00 CET. The proposed agenda Agenda-EUSDR-PA-8-MRS-Week_26-April-2023-Resilient-value-chains-with-regard-to-energy gives an insight into the speakers and the procedure of the session. Experts from Slovenia, Sweden and Germany take place in the discussion.

 

About the 4th EU Macro-Regional Strategies Week

The hybrid EU MRS Week takes place already the fourth time in Brussels and online. It takes place from 24-28 April 2023. This years theme is transform to thrive and the events will focus on the three topics energy, skills and funding. The registration and programme can be found here.

 

The Stakeholder session will show how energy and further resources will be saved and a more resilient supply be possible. International diversification of supply and value chains as a key factor in maintaining competitiveness and reducing risk dependency for SMEs, ensuring the supply of energy, food and goods to the population throughout Europe. In the session approaches will be presented which also include examples of bioeconomy by using nutrient resource from agriculture and circular economy by avoiding food waste.
